The student will identify a sample organizational problem statement for a real or hypothetical grant funding application, based on Step 3 of the O’Neal-McElrath text. The problem statement must include at least two (2) sources containing information on organizational, community, national, or Census related information. The statement must contain at least 800 words. The cover page and references page will not be credited toward your word count minimum. It must be organized so a person unfamiliar with the need can understand the need and the solution that you are proposing. The author must include all of the the rubric terms for content and formatting in current APA style. Please review the Sample Problem Statement Example before beginning your assignment.
