For this assignment, you will be required to explain/describe the five steps of the public policy analysis process as detailed in our textbook. You should provide a description of the step you are examining and any examples that you may find or develop, if applicable. Be sure to properly cite your sources, including page numbers.
Each entry should be at least a page, typed, double-spaced, standard font, therefore your work should consist of five pages total, which amounts to one page, approximately, for each of the five steps. The grading of this assignment will be based upon your ability to convey the depth and richness of your understanding. It will be best not to do them all at the last minute. The information can be found in chapters 3, 4, 5, and 6 of Kraft and Furlong’s book, Public Policy. See the table of contents for specifics, especially chapter 4.
