In this week’s reading (pages 133-198), the reader gets insight into how Jin alienates his friends and transforms his identity.
Compare and contrast the choices the Monkey King and Jin make in their respective chapters. How did the Monkey King’s choices change or empower him? Did Jin’s choices do the same? Ultimately, how did their choices help or hurt their respective narratives?
