During this course, you will be creating a Canvas module. You may have already created a module when you too NU600, or if you’ve not yet taken that course, you will be doing so. You will build upon your Canvas shell and modules throughout the program. During this specific course, you will create an introduction & to the topic for one of your modules, a resources page, and a quiz. Each of these assignments will be placed directly in a Canvas shell (see Unit 14 Assignment).
For the week 3 assignment, you chose a topic for your module that you are interested in teaching based on your identified path (If you’ve already completed a module in NU600, please make sure it is not the same topic, but related to the “course” you’d like to create—you’ll be developing the course details in NU635).
In this assignment, you will begin to draft your course resources information for your Canvas course shell lesson (see Unit 14 Assignment).
For this assignment, create a 2-page word document with a title/reference page and the information below.
The introduction should be 5-6 sentences long describing the topic you selected from unit 3 (do not use the same exact verbiage from that assignment, but rather provide a high-level overview of the topic).
Next, identify 3 scholarly resources for your resources page related to your selected topic from unit 3.
When considering your resources, think about what you want the nurses or students to take away from this resource.
The resources should be credible, scholarly, and from the last 5 years.
In your paper, list each resource, in APA format, and then describe the following:
The purpose of the resources
The benefit of using this resource
How the student may use this resource to support his/her learning of the identified topic
Be sure to provide a conclusion, as well.
Requirements
For this assignment, be sure to include the following assignment criteria in your paper:
An introduction that describes your course including some details. Be sure to use clear and concise language.
Describe the 3 resources as identified above.
A conclusion paragraph
Use peer-reviewed evidence-based resources from the last 5 years.
The paper should be at least 2 pages in length, excluding title and reference pages.
Use APA formatting for your information and references in your required and supplemental sections
This should not be the same topic/information as done in a previous course.
