The purpose of this section is to demonstrate your ability to understand generalist social work practice, the importance of values and ethics in practice, the connection between values and ethics and professional use of self in practice, and the ability to distinguish different professional roles. Describe how the services you provided during your field placement were reflective of generalist social work practice (METRO HEALTH is my field placement Read all About it FIRST (https://www.brmetrohealth.com) ). (5pts.) Include information regarding how your role as a social worker was different from other professionals (use examples to demonstrate). (10pts.) Describe and give examples of how the values and ethics of the social work profession affected your practice (Refer to specific sections of the NASW Code of Ethics). (10pts.) Discuss how your own values and attitudes affected your social work practice and give examples of your professional use of self in practice.
