The case study here centres on two different fictitious scenarios whereby students are requested to:
1. critically evaluate the leadership styles depicted in the scenarios,
2. discuss the impact of the leadership styles on employees’ well-being and the work environment.
3. provide recommendations for improvement of the leadership practices to promote successful business outcome.
A set of questions (located at the end of this assessment brief) is given to assist in this analysis. The questions have been
designed to help draw forth responses that identify an understanding of the concept of ethical leadership, having an ethical
climate and assessing the well-being of employees and on the job satisfaction. Participants are required to complete the
questionnaire when considering the questions asked here and provide a summary of their analysis.
