This project will focus upon Managing Teams (Chapter 10). Your task is to interview three (3) supervisors or managers in your (current or previous) company/organization and get their input regarding these three questions:
Which is harder to manage, an in-tact team or several remote/dispersed workers? Why?
What has been their biggest challenge (to date) in managing a team?
Regarding the Stages of Team Development (Exhibit 10.4), which stage is the most
challenging for a supervisor/manager? Why?*
*You will likely need to review this exhibit and the Stages of Team Development with your interviewees
Once you have conducted your interviews, your task is to compare and contrast your interview data. Where is there agreement? Where is there disagreement? What evidence or examples (from the managers/supervisors) do you find to be the most compelling? Why? What evidence or
examples do you find to be the least compelling? Why?
Whenever possible, try to relate the concepts of the previous chapters that you’ve read into your post. Be sure to include specific examples to back up/support your answers.
When writing your paper, focus on addressing the questions listed above, don’t simply report on what each manager says. Rather, focus on similarities and differences and upon which manager makes the better argument for his/her position. Be sure to address all three questions.

Your analysis of your data/interview results should be complied into a well-written, concise paper that is 4-5 pages in length (double spaced, 12 size font).
