You are the vice president of a company and you know some difficult news is going to be delivered in the near future. Some of the employees have heard rumors that an announcement is coming but they are not sure what it is. Trust seems to be eroding with the employees. You’re not prepared to make a statement regarding the upcoming changes because all the details have not been worked out. Instead it’s been decided that a memo needs to be issued to regain trust in leadership.
In this assignment you will create a memo building a culture of trust. You should elude to the fact that an announcement will be coming but you cannot provide any details. The message of the memo should be around gaining the trust of the employees that you will in leadership will be making the right decision for the good of the company, shareholders, and employees. The memo should be in business format and be no more than one page. In the memo you will need to select keywords that you feel will build the culture of trust and underline them to help bring attention to those words and reinforce the points with the readers.
