Assignment Questions:
Pick a product or process and answer the following four questions:
1) Describe the product or processes of the disruption in terms of financial possibilities, e.g. a chance to gain market share.
2) Some disruptive innovations succeed; some do not. Did this product or processes succeed financially? Describe – do not answer simply yes or no.
3) Evaluation stages can support or sabotage innovation. These stages can be thought of as feasibility, development, and launch (Christensen, p 77). Describe your product or process in terms of a “Stage-gate Innovation” evaluation approach. Use the three stages mentioned above.
4) Now compare and contrast you analysis above in terms of a “Discovery-driven Planning” approach.
