There are many challenges along the way, including the development of a research question, the selection of a theoretical framework, review of previous research, data collection and analysis, interpretation of data, and a conclusion. Researchers must take great care along the way to ensure the appropriateness of each of these elements and more.
For this Assignment, you will critique a research design. You will separate each step in the process and try to determine if the presented variables are well defined and appropriate to the overall project.
Review the “Design Critique” document found in this week’s Learning Resources and use it to complete your Assignment.
Using the “Design Critique” document, critique the multiple baseline design across all participants in the document. (Note: The area to the left of the dotted line is the baseline and the area to the right of the dotted line is treatment. The intervention was designed to increase social engaged time in three children with autism.)
Your task is to critique the design, in general, using the criteria indicated in the “Design Critique” document as well as evaluate the graphed data with regard to whether it meets the criteria you selected. Note: There may not be enough information with the graphed data to draw conclusions with regard to your critique.
Assignment (1–2 pages):
Critique the multiple baseline design across all participants by answering the questions in the “Design Critique” document.

Use proper APA format and citations, including those in the Learning Resources.
