I have attempted to write this paper myself. So far it has been returned to me twice with feedback from our writing center at the library. Clearly, I need help! I have enclosed my last submit if this helps any. I believe I was pretty much told to start from scratch. I will be the first to admit, I am not good with in-text citations, quotes, etc… help! Choose to write one paper on either Management or Leadership. For which ever paper you decide to write- seriously consider consulting the Writing Center in the Athens State University Library before you begin. College writing is an acquired skill and is more difficult to do in the baccalaureate program. Be sure to understand the following: College of Business Integrity Policy, APA Manual, 7th edition, Safe Assignment procedures, and Quick Reference Guide with checklist. The paper must be APA format, 7th Edition and equivalent to college level work and consistent in form throughout the paper. Set margins at 1″ all sides, line-spacing at double space, and use 12 point font/Times New Roman throughout the entire paper including heading levels, title page reference etc…. Do not incorporate such items as bold font, colored font, abstract, executive summary, appendix, charts, tables, figures, or table of contents as this paper requirement is much too short for these items. Do provide an introduction as well as a conclusion neither of which should exceed 1/4 page each and must blend in with the rest of the paper. The title page must include paper title, your name, and pertinent class information. Do not use water marks, pictures or illustrations on the title page- this is not high school. The reference page must list all citations used in the text body (use at least 4). The title page and reference page are counted as two of the 5 pages required meaning that you should have 3 full pages of text in addition to the title and reference pages. Be sure to number the pages lower right. Late submission date with penalty- please refer to the current syllabus for more information. If you want to use another paper from a previous class- you must get permission; in addition, you MUST tie in that paper to reflect one of the writing topics below. As a minimum, the topic of this paper MUST be directly related to this assignment. Wikipedia, Huffington Post, etc., are not considered scholarly sources- do not use them. Each paper will be graded as follows: 30 points for APA formatting, spelling & syntax (sentence structure, punctuation, or language rules), 5 points for following directions, and 55 points for content for a grand total of 90 points.
