In Unit 1, you learned to identify a mainstream source of nutrition information

In Unit 1, you learned to identify a mainstream source of nutrition information appropriate for patient education and evaluate the information source using the Ask, Think, Learn, Repeat Guide. You then learned how to search for peer-reviewed articles to further evaluate sources.
For each unit, you will continue source evaluations based on the weekly topics. This week is Protein and Vitamins. Using the Ask, Think, Learn, Repeat Guide, locate a mainstream source of nutrition information for one of the approved topics below, and evaluate it as you did previously. Then, locate a peer-reviewed source of nutrition information for the same topic. Just as you did previously, compare the peer-reviewed data to the mainstream information.
