1. Now that we have discussed how to assess capacity building, defined leadership, and reviewed what leader development includes, let’s bring it together by focusing on your organization’s leadership development.
Review your organization. Where do you see leadership or vertical development of the employees and capacity building for the organization? List the various development opportunities and the capacity building interventions within your organization. Show the alignment, if any, between the development and capacity building that is taking place. How is this being assessed throughout the capacity building process? 8-10 pages not including title and reference page.

Developing Capacity Building Assessment
This assessment aligns with the competency for this module: Students will research and explain organizational capacity and how to assess capacity of a business or organization. This assessment will allow students to analyze their current leadership development/succession planning and look at what the challenges leaders in their organization face and how this will be overcome by the leader or the organization.
What kind of a leader are you? Effective leadership behaviors are necessary to maintain a culture of collaborative leadership and to establish a process for successful organizational change. The following assessment identifies current leadership standards needed to lead an effective organizational community. Organizations that show significant improvement in productive outcomes attribute this success to improved and distributed leadership. This assessment will help evaluate and confirm leadership strengths and areas of growth and offer improvement suggestions.
