This format is way off. You need to get one of the software programs that I mentioned in the resources section of my Google Classroom. Trelby is free.

For this week, please complete the following that should be due this Friday:
Select the concept you are most passionate about writing;
Select and download/activate the screenwriting software you will use; and
Write 1 page that strictly follows the screenplay format and upload to Google Classroom as a PDF (no other format can be accepted). This should be the beginning of your screenplay project for the course.
What is standard screenplay format?
12-point Courier font size.
1.5 inch margin on the left of the page.
1 inch margin on the right of the page.
1 inch on the of the top and bottom of the page.
Each page should have approximately 55 lines.
The dialogue block starts 2.5 inches from the left side of the page.
I’m enclosing a link to CeltX screenwriting. I’m not a big fan, but it is somewhat free and meets format standards relatively easy. If you have Final Draft or Movie Magic Screenwriter, those are the best industry formats.
I’m also uploading a short script that you can refer to for format. Compare to what you are going to submit.
I’m not going to take any points away for this assignment, but try to get to the proper format and upload as a PDF. Some of you may be struggling with screenwriting software choices.
I will have a voluntary and virtual writing lab this Wednesday at 6.
