Each individual will select a topic from the list below, have the topic approved by yourinstructor, then:1. Research the topic (using 2 or more peer-reviewed, professional journal articleswhich present evidence- based practice).2. Write a 2-3 page review of literature (not including title page and reference page).The topic will be presented as it applies to the aged population. It must be written in APA7th edition format. The journal references may NOT be more than 5 years old and the textbookreferences should NOT be more than 10 years old. You must have the topic and all researcharticles reviewed by the instructor prior to submitting your paper. You are encouraged to reviewthe grading criteria on the grading rubric. Please use the recommended APA reference book andthe grading rubric to guide you on how to structure and write your paper.If the assignment is not submitted on the designated date the student receives a 10-pointdeduction for each day late. The assignment will be 15% of the skills grade. This assignment willenable the student to partially meet the writing requirements necessary for the course andgraduation requirements for Wor-Wic Community College.When creating your paper, you should be using several different research articles tosupport facts. Do not use direct quotes and do not summarize the research article. You shouldpull facts out of each article and organize them into categories/subjects. Each category/subjectshould be a paragraph. This is a scientific paper where passive voice is expected, and citationsshould be included with each fact you present in your paper. Refer to an APA formatting guideto help you organize your paper.
