One must be a peer-reviewed nursing journal and all references must be no more than 10 years old. You may reference more than 2 sources if you want to.
The presentation is to be created in Microsoft PowerPoint. Slides should contain concise and clear wording with text large enough for an audience to read and only informative images.
The presentation will begin with a title slide (topic, course number, your name, and date). Include 2-4 slides for the content which is bullet points and then elaborated on as if addressing a live audience in the speaker notes section of each slide. Include a summary slide at the conclusion of the presentation. The final slide(s) is references in APA format.
When delivering a presentation to a “live” audience, speakers elaborate on the information in the slides to enhance the audience’s understanding. For online delivery in this class, the elaboration MUST be provided in the “notes” section of each slide. Providing elaboration in the “notes” section helps to avoid excessively wordy slides with small text (which an audience would not be able to read). To type in the “notes” section of each slide, change the view to “notes pages” (A text box for notes will appear below the slide). Type in the text box.
Material from sources must be paraphrased (i.e., restated in your own words) as appropriate, cited, and referenced using APA style. Excessive quoting is not permitted.
