STEP ONE:
Read the entry on “Managerial Roles” in the Encyclopedia of Management Theory (2013). Pay particular focus to all the instances and discussions where Mintzberg’s roles of management are discussed (this appears several times throughout the reading).
STEP TWO:
Write a two-page summary describing and explaining Mintzberg’s model (a full explanation requires more than just listing the roles), its contribution and significance to the study of management, and then discuss the strengths and weaknesses of the model. This paper should be written in your own words. Keep quotes and paraphrases to a minimum.
