sometimes inadvertently as we move through our lives. Tell the story of how you learned
one concept, one truth, one skill, or one piece of knowledge that you value.
Tips: Remember that a strong narrative will “show, ” not “tell.” Use vivid details to recreate your
experience for the reader, but be sure to select those details carefully. All should build to the
climax of your story and your overall point. Since this is your story, you should use first person
narration.
