Case scenario
Industrial and Organizational: After recent layoffs in your community, you were thrilled to hear that your company is expanding their offices and intends to hire fifty new employees. You encourage everyone you know to apply and to share the news. When you arrive at work on Monday, you have been assigned to oversee the hiring of fifty new employees. Your job will include conducting the initial screening of all applicants to determine who will move on to the next level of interviews. Even though you have never screened applicants before, your co-worker advises you that this is a big opportunity toward promotion.
