Hello Maria! Thank you for your discussion on the conclusion our capstone project and your phone conversation with Dr. Spears! Dr. Spears’ input on the conclusion part of our capstone project is very helpful. The conclusion is similar to the thesis of the project, as it is extremely important for the reader and attracting the reader’s attention. We sometimes only read the thesis and conclusion of evidence-based practice (EBP) articles to see if the article is what we are looking for. I agree with you that the conclusion must be informative and summarize the whole paper in a comprehensive way. Good luck to you on your conclusion and the final presentation next week!
Discussion 2:
This week we are working the final chapter, the conclusion. In this chapter I will be summarizing my entire thesis. The phone call with Dr. Carmen helped a lot with understanding how long this chapter should be and what should all be included. She stated that a reader should be able to read the abstract and the conclusion and have a good understand about what the entire project was about. I do not have any questions this week.
