All instructions for this data analysis in this folder (Econometric Principles ‐ Data Analysis Project instructions .pdf)
You need to show all of your workings. Full marks will not be awarded if any parts of the essential steps are not presented/described.
In your report, you can answer question by question.
You don’t have to present your report in a form of academic paper/essay.
You don’t have to provide references to external resources (unless you find it necessary).
As stated in the instruction file, you need to present/describe every essential step required to answer each question.
You have two options for preparing your report:
i.) Compose a single report by RMarkdown that contains your R commands, outputs, and text‐based answers addressing each question. You can generate a PDF report directly from RMarkdown or create an html file then convert it to a PDF file.
ii.) Prepare a text‐based report separately from your data analysis on R. For this option, you can conduct the necessary data analysis on either R‐scriipt or RMarkdown, then compose a text‐based report addressing each question, using Microsoft Word or other word‐processing software. Please include the key results of your data analysis from R (for example, descriiptive statistics, figures, regression outputs, etc. but not the data) into your text‐based report, so that your report can be read without referring to your R scriipt/output file. Please also submit your complete data analysis file (RMarkdown, or R scriipt plus output) in addition to your text‐based report.
