A final fifteen-page paper is required and will constitute half of the final grade. Students are expected to explore an area of the ombuds profession through in-depth research and analysis. This course provides a broad review of the ombuds field and process. The final paper provides students an opportunity to dive into aspects of the profession that are of interest and facilitates a greater understanding of the selected topics. The professor will allow opportunities throughout the course to discuss potential final paper topics. In this course your final will be a paper.
