Students will be required to write a case study paper on a contemporary issue of their choosing related to the ongoing work of an international organization. The topic and international organization can be the same as the ones selected in the resolution and presentation, or they can be different. The purpose of this assignment is to delve deeper into the issues facing international organizations and how they are working to address them. The assignment is also to adhere to the formatting and plagiarism requirements. Students are to briefly summarize the international organization and the history of its work on that issue. They are then to summarize the contemporary work related to that issue. Importantly, students are expected to provide analysis from their own research and the work of other academics on the successes and failures of that organization’s work on the issue being discussed.
