“You will need to submit a five-page essay that incorporates what you have learned this semester. Write about the following two topics: 21st-century challenges and Women and politics in the Caribbean.
Offer two substantive, strategic, and thoughtful solutions to the problems you identify if you select 21st-century challenges. For example, if there is a lack of clean water in the country, do not suggest that the government provide water filtration. If it were this easy then the government would have already done so. Think more critically about the problem and the solution.
This is not the space to paraphrase or quote a lot. Original thought is encouraged.
Be sure to cite from five different sources and authors and film directors to receive full credit. List the sources on the last page of the essay. Make sure that this information is cited correctly throughout the document.
