Let’s jump into learning about women’s lives and various lived experiences in the post-World War II period in the United States. We’re focusing on 1945, the year WWII ended, through 1965. NO peer replies are due this week. WATCH – The PBS Makers documentary and the United States Courts video posted in this module. ASSIGNMENT Step One: Compare and contrast the different lived experiences of women based on race, ethnicity, marital status, and class after World War II. Your response should be historically specific with evidence, detail, and intersectional analysis. Provide specific quoted and cited evidence from both required videos in this module. Step Two: Find a primary source image depicting the topic of your response. For example, if you wrote about domestic workers, then find a primary source online depicting domestic workers from that era. Make sure it’s a real primary source, and it’s from a reliable source, like PBS or a museum. Cut and paste it into your discussion forum post and cite it by posting the link underneath it so we can all see where you found it.
