Article Analysis: Write a 500-600 word synthesis. Choose one of the three research articles you found for your Final Paper project, and write an analysis of the article following the Analysis Guidelines provided below.
Analysis Guidelines
Begin by writing a thorough summary of the article (about 2/3rds of the assignment should be summary details and 1/3rd critical reflection on the article).
Make sure to provide a strong introduction that identifies the article title and author.
Assume that the audience is someone interested in the topic who has not read the article; therefore the summary should provide an accurate snapshot of the key ideas in the article.
The analysis should be more than a final paragraph.
Include the number of words at the end of your synthesis (in Microsoft Word the word count can be seen at the bottom left corner of the screen, next to the page number, when you have your document open. Highlight the text of your essay only, not including title & reference pages).
Be sure to proofread for spelling and grammar.

Submitting your assignment: Written assignments must be submitted as an attachment. Assignments need to be written using some type of word processing software (preferably Microsoft Word). Be sure to include your name in the assignment file name as well as in the document header.
