After you complete your teach, write a 3-4 page (Double spaced) reflection paper for this assignment. Discuss the following: Why you chose the topic; your rationale for organizing the lesson sequence as you did; your rationale for including the particular topics you included; what you hope students will gain from their participation in this lesson as you have it planned and organized; and how this assignment will benefit you later as a professional teacher. In addition, analyze the results of your implementation of the lesson and address the following:
What sources (national standards, professional literature, etc.) were used in planning the lesson or creating materials for instruction?
To what extent did the lesson sequence, activities, and/or discussion support the goals and objectives, and state adopted standards?
How you incorporated students’ prior knowledge into the lesson sequence?

Safety Rules for the Assignment:

3. Keep your hands away from your face and mouth while handling the plant to prevent accidental ingestion.

5. Use magnifying glasses or hand lenses carefully, ensuring they are not directed towards your eyes.
6. Do not touch or disturb other plants or animals without permission.
7. Work together in a respectful manner, treating both living organisms and fellow students with care and consideration.
8. If you have any allergies or sensitivities to plants or insects, inform the teacher before the activity.
9. Wash your hands thoroughly after the activity to ensure proper hygiene.
10. Report any accidents, spills, or unexpected incidents to the teacher immediately.
