I’m nurse working as HCP Healthcare Practitioner in police custody. I’m on non-medical prescribing course and I need 2500 word essay using Driscoll reflection model. In my essay I will observe FME Forensic Medical Examined which performing medical assessment and making decision to prescribe Diazepam for anxious patient in custody. FME will use GAD-7 assessment tool to assess severity of symptoms and he will make decision to prescribe Diazepam to help DP Detained Person to deal with symptoms while in custody. I need to explain what anxiety is and how it effects people in custody and what Diazepam is and how it works on anxiety patient. I have to reflect on the prescribing decision of this medication for that condition. References from NMC, NICE, BNF, FFLM and other should be use.
