Instructions: Given your choice of evaluating your own organization, or using the Omega College Case Study, evaluate how the organization you chose uses key financial metrics for planning and measuring performance.
Write a 3-4 page paper based upon your assessment of the current practices at the organization related to:
• a culture that supports continued growth and development.
• specific HRD practices and processes.
• identify a situation within the organization that needs attention — a problem of practice.
It is essential that you identify a problem that can be addressed by implementing HRD-related processes and practices. The problem you describe can be what YOU identify as a problem based on both your own perceptions and knowledge of HRD theories we are studying.
The paper should include:
• A strong introduction that includes a specific thesis statement for the paper- this grabs the reader’s attention and tells the reader why the paper is being written and what the author intends to accomplish.
• Describe the organization’s practices for individual development and organizational development.
• Present an organizational HRD theory from our readings to identify a problem of practice at the organization that needs to be addressed.
• Based on the presented theory and your professional expertise, make suggestions for organizational improvement. Make sure to clearly link your suggestions to the theory utilized.
• Make sure to include a conclusion which clearly states how the author met the objectives they outlined in the thesis statement they presented in the introduction.
