Take photos (if you know their identity) or find photos online of each of these items (can’t be a photo from the PowerPoint). Note: it has to be something that would occur in Florida (using ifas or edis after the search will help).
Below each photo:
Describe the damage/symptoms (for pest insects, diseases, nematodes, abiotic disorders) or what is eats for beneficial insect
What plant it occurs on (not for weeds or beneficial insects/mites)
The possible suspect (identification, for example, Pythium fungi or green peach aphid).
Submit in a Word document or PowerPoint. You may use this word document Lab Nursery Scouting.docx
Include ONE OF EACH of the following organisms:
Insects / mites
Disease (potentially caused by a pathogen)
Weed or abiotic (non-living cause of plant stress)
