Assignment highlights:
Research a clinically focused health problem related to the care of older adults. Content should be reflective of the current understanding of the approach to a particular healthcare problem including the most current evidence-based treatment according to published research, guidelines or standards. A clinical problem is presented in PICOT format. Search the evidence and obtain three articles, using different research engines related to the PICOT question. Utilize three research engines, ie. PubMed, CINAHL, Cochran, etc… Articles cannot be duplicates. Once the evidence has been searched, synthesize the data by completing the synthesis tables. Based on the synthesis of the data, recommendations are made regarding the PICOT question.
