Specifics:
Full credit posts should demonstrate an adequate familiarity with the prompt topic, provide opportunities for review and reflection while contributing towards critical analysis and discussion of the article. This should not just be a summary alone. Needless to say, your posts should be in your own words and not copied verbatim from outside sources. Don’t forget to use a word processing program to run spelling and grammar check, that way you can save your posts as well, just in case there’s any kind of a system glitch and you get booted out of the system before you submit so you don’t lose your work!
Replies are intended to facilitate discussion among the group, so, yes, you should include your opinion on whether you agree or disagree with other posts, but be sure to take it a step further by backing up your opinion and/or offering critical thinking questions of your own. You could even contribute any outside research, or sources you come across that are relevant to the issue if you feel it applies and you are welcome to connect the article to your experiences. You will see a dialogue growing out of the posts and replies and I am looking for evidence that you are contributing to the conversation with original ideas and not just repeating what others said and/or agreeing with them.
Minimum Posting Requirements: for full credit, you must create at least 1 original thread length reply to this forum & reply to at least 2 other posts.
AT THE TOP OF THE POST BE SURE TO CHECK THE RUBRIC FOR GRADING REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POST.
