Paper Should Have:
A clear overall thesis.
This can be an argumentative, analytical, or explanatory thesis, or some combination of the three.
A length of around 1000-1500 words NOT including quotations, footnotes, or the bibliography.
Footnotes and a bibliography in Chicago Style. (do not use parenthetical citations)
Your paper should be 12 point Times New Roman and double spaced.
Your paper should focus heavily on your primary sources, but secondary sources should be used to give context. (e.g. who wrote the text, when it was written, and any other cultural or historical details needed to understand the text)
