Essay details:
Everyone has heard it before: “Don’t ask for permission, ask for forgiveness”. Breaking the rules has long been associated with innovation and entrepreneurship. However, recent scandals around e.g. Elizabeth Holmes (Theranos) or Sam Bankman-Fried (FTX) have demonstrated that there are obvious lines as to how far you can go as an entrepreneur/company. Please discuss how companies and/or entrepreneurs can manage to balance the upside and downside of rule-breaking. Use peer-reviewed papers for your argumentation.
