Assignment 8.1Assignment 8.1
Framing
Print the following PDF that includes an “a” and a circle:
Cut the circle out so the paper has a circular hole in it. Use this paper as you would a viewfinder for a camera. Through the viewfinder, create three different ways of framing the “a,” where each example creates a different representation of the “a.” Explain what you think each example represents. Think about what each of the images means, do research, and then solve for possible solutions. Photograph the three best solutions and post them. Make sure each image is labeled.
Use the viewfinder paper again, but this time without the “a.”. Instead, find three images that illustrate different statements from Bruce Mau’s Incomplete Manifesto for Growth. Be sure to label each image with the number from his statements.
