The tone, grammar, and structure should be the same throughout the report. The report is a technical document for a system design of a Powered Speaker. Technical graphics should have appropriate captions. It should be readable by a technical and non-technical audience. The only section I need to write from scratch is the first section (Executive Summary). The instructions per section are as follows:
Executive Summary: This section must provide a concise and clear overview of the entire document, including risks addressed, mitigation strategy, results, and any changes to the project. The summary should be well-organized, free of grammar/spelling errors, and begin with an effective topic sentence.
System Desсrіption: Must describe the system including any changes resulting from the prototype activity. This section must be less than 4 pages and must provide an operational and physical desсrіption and use effective graphics as taught in the course lectures.
Initial Identification of Risks: Must capture the risk scenario after the Risk Management Meeting and prior to doing the prototype activity. Include the most significant risks to the project as determined by research, trade studies, and sponsor/advisor/instructor input. Risks that could be mitigated with several hours of research and risks which caused the project scope or specifications to change should not be included. Risks must be shown in a table as taught in the lecture and accompanied by a risk cube.
Prototype Activity: Which risk was selected and why? Describe the prototyping strategy and what you wanted to learn from it. What results would mitigate the risk and what results would elevate it? Test setups and procedures should be clearly described using text and effective graphics as taught in the lectures. Results must be presented using tables, plots, and/or photographs as needed.
Final Risk Analysis: Must capture the risks after doing the prototype activity. Must show the updated table of risks and the resulting risk cube. Comment on specific strategies (not generalities or opinions) for managing remaining risks as the project continues.
