Team Discussion for Module 6
The Module 6 discussion is organized in THREE steps:Each team member will select either one of the journal articles listed on Table 11.4, 11.6, or 11.8 of your textbook – OR, each member may search through the ASU library for an example of a comparative design.
Each member will share their study during the team meeting by answering the following questions:What was the title of your article?
What was the journal and year published?
How did you go about locating it?
What was the independent variable?
What was the dependent variable?
Briefly describe the participants and setting.
What design was used? (note, if it was a combined design, please only discuss the withdrawal/reversal portion)
Looking at the data, do you believe there is a functional relation? Why or why not? Describe the results as explained by the authors.
Looking a “quality” in single case research, does your article meet that definition by having all of the following:IOA of at least 80%?
Fidelity for data collection
Fidelity for intervention implementation
Social validity
Submit the APA formatted reference for each article along with a PDF for each article with your Team Discussion. You may combine the PDFs together into one document.
