CLASSMATE POST 1 – Hi class, I agree with the notion that ‘Cultures in Europe are becoming more similar’. I agree because I feel like it’s true. In this world of advanced technology, everything is based on that. Along with different processes in the country, everyone is following the same things. It makes it easy for people and companies to manage or get new employees to adapt since it’s more alike. It also makes it challenging for the intraculture changes. Each generation is different. Some can do things a little differently than others. CLASSMATE POST 2-The notion that Cultures in Europe are becoming more similar is not true. It is a complex topic with varying perspectives. Europe is a diverse continent with a history of different cultures,traditions,and languages. Globalization has increased mobility, and technological advancements have facilitated cross-cultural interactions and exchanges in Europe. As a result,People of different generations disagree on the importance of customs and traditions to national identity. Culture is a term that has been interpreted in various ways by different individuals. Essentially, it can be defined as the way people conduct themselves and the practices they follow. The benefits of working in a multicultural environment are manifold. Individuals get the opportunity to gain knowledge and experience diverse cutures, interact effectively with people from different backgrounds, and develop awareness of various customs. By understanding different cultures, people can develop multiple perspectives for solving problems. In conclusion the advantages of cultures becoming more similar is the increasing tolerance for certain behaviors. However, the downside of cultures becoming more alike is that people may lose their unique cultural identity. For instance, the death penalty is accepted in certain parts of countries, while others believe that incarceration is the best solution. If every culture were to adapt similar practices, what would be the implications for the world?
