Assignment Instructions:
For this assignment, please submit the following components:
1. Your revised thesis.
Your thesis should have a clear claim, strategy, and significance.
Your thesis should clear reference the two (2) texts that you will discuss.
2. Your key topic sentences (anywhere from 3-6 topic sentences).
Reminder: Your topic sentences should clearly relate to and support your thesis statement
3. Under each topic sentence, I would like you to quote (with citations) the key textual evidence you will use.
You do not need to include any analysis (that will come in your final assignment).
Please include direct quotations that you plan on discussing. Your topic sentences should make it clear how you plan on using this evidence.
Be specific. Avoid long quotes.
Reminder: I would recommend that you review lecture 8.3, 9.3, and 10.3 prior to completing this assignment.
