In class we learned that Joseph Campbell noticed patterns in many stories across cultures and time periods. This is called The Hero’s Journey or The Monomyth. During the semester we have read several stories that follow this pattern- The Canterbury Tales, Stardust, Beowulf, and Watchmen. For this assignment you will write an essay demonstrating how one of these heroes follows this cycle. Requirements: Times New Roman, 12 pt font, double space 1000 words MLA style citations, including in text citations Must use at least two scholarly sources and two credible sources. You must also include quotations (evidence) from the text you are examining. This means that your essay must have at least 5 quotations.
