I need my aleks pie completed. I’ve completed some of the assignments and need help with the rest of the topics
You have two benchmarks this term and your MAIN FOCUS should always be on the progress you make EACH AND EVERY WEEK in ALEKS. Of course, you need to also submit Canvas work on time. 1st benchmark is for midterm – by the end of Week 5 you should have at least 60/120 topics completed = 300 points. 2nd benchmark is for the final – by the end of Wk 10, you should have all 120/120 topics completed = 600 points (or as many as possible – each topic = 5 points to your overall grade). Regardless of your progress after the pre-assessment: I suggest planning for at least 5 hours per week learning topics in ALEKS – every week – until you’ve completed all 120/120 topics. At a MINIMUM: at least enough time to complete your required 12 learned topics per week. Per the MAT110 course guide:
WEEKLY COURSE SCHEDULE
The standard requirement for a 4.5 credit hour course is for students to spend 13.5 hours in weekly work.
PLEASE make EVERY day, EVERY week count … until you have completed all 120/120 topics (or as many as possible). We want you SUCCESSFUL! Why is it so important to keep the 12 topics completed per week pace EVERY week?
The #1 reason to keep the pace: The topics WILL get more challenging and as such, you WILL slow down in pace/progress. Staying ahead of schedule is much less stressful so that you don’t find yourself grasping for air and barely passing (if not failing) in the last few weeks of the course. Again, MINIMUM GOAL = complete 12 topics per week (EVEN IF YOU ARE AHEAD OF THE WEEKLY PROGRESS GOAL!). The #2 reason to keep the pace: You CAN finish the ALEKS portion of this course EARLY! If you complete all 120/120 topics early, you can take the 3 ALEKS quizzes early as well. Then you just need to complete Canvas work for the remainder of the term and smooth sailing from there. Week 4 ALEKS Quiz will be open in Week 2, due Week 4. You have 3 attempts and your BEST score counts. Retakes are “quick retakes” so you only have to complete the problems you missed previously on the next attempt. You get to keep what you had correct! You can also use your calculator and the review materials DURING your attempts. Take advantage! Week 4 Assignment in Canvas will also be open in Week 2, due in Week 4.
