The page requirement does not include the title page, reference page, abstract if include, or any appendices that are added. o Writing is expected to be worthy of college work. Therefore, while this is not an English course, I do expect you to use proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation. o Submissions must be double space, using standard and appropriate language following normal conventions of grammar and style, avoid first person writing, have one-inch margins and Times New Roman font, size 12. o American Psychological Association (APA) must be utilized. o Minimum of twenty (12) citations from appropriate peer journals/books. o Citation Manager: The students should consider utilizing either Refworks or Menedely as their citation managers. Plagiarism refers to the use of another person’s expressed thoughts, ideas, writing, or data without properly acknowledging the source of the material. Using the work of another person and trying to pass it off as one’s own without attributing the source is an act of plagiarism. Students caught plagiarizing may face severe consequences up to and including failure of the course. When producing any work for this course, students must properly attribute the sources when they quote, paraphrase, or convey ideas, concepts, theories, or other data. The instructor will be using software to screen all papers for non-original content and to assist me with the identification of plagiarism. See “Why Citations Matter”: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yiGyc4om3w0. o The paper must utilize the cover page in Exhibit B. o Grading of the submission will be based on substance of the topic itself, together with clarity of expression, proper syntax, spelling, and neatness of presentation. Exhibit C outlines the rubric that will be utilized in grading. o Paper is due as noted on Canvas. o Guidelines for Strategic Analysis Presentation: An oral presentation of your Strategic Plan Analysis is the major project for this course.
