Group project: 1) Form the group with no more than four team members; 2) target “Operations Management” department from one industrial company in the real world; 3) Develop the plan for the project including a) topic focusing(topics come from the chapter titles of the lecturing or textbook), b) collect information materials from the company, c) questions to be addressed and analysis methods; 4) report writing.
PART 1-POWERPOINT Directions
In this preliminary presentation, the following contents should be included and presented in Powerpoint:1) Topic(s) focused;2) Real company name and background;3) Materials collected from the company through including but not limited to the onsite visit, email, journal papers, website search;4) Main issues and questions to address or solve;5) Research design (how to solve the questions);6) What work has been done so far and how to proceed in the rest of the semester.
Specific Directions- You can use the existing powerpoint an use the paper as an refrences to add stuff . make sure you be more specific in the research questions on the powerpoint , solve or have a solution to the questions addressed in the powerpoint in another slide . You can keep the powerpoint i started on in the dropbox an make it better according to these directions an the directions above.
