A lesson plan is an outline to help guide your lessons. After reviewing the handout, “What Children Learn” think about what type of ASL lesson you could include in a school-age children classroom environment based on what the children are learning. (See the example lesson plan)
Create and submit a Lesson Plan that includes the following:
Grade level for the lesson plan
Subject area lesson plan will be included in
An overall summary of the lesson/activity
Objective of the lesson plan
Materials for the lesson plan
A list of ASL signs to be included in the lesson plan (a minimum of ten words)
Any additional information you want to include
