Assignment Guidelines DIRECTIONS: Compose a 3-5 page essay that defines or redefines the word “communication,” “technology,” “innovation,” or “productivity.” Your essay should include the following components: In your introduction, explain how society, or the dictionary, defines the word you’ve selected. While you can draw from the skills definitions provided in this course, make sure to address other standard definitions, such as those mentioned above, of the word. Also in your introduction, include a thesis statement that explains your unique or extended definition of the word. Your thesis statement must inform your readers of your new definition.
