We have about 37 trillion cells in our body! The cell is the functional and structural unit of our body for a reason – they do so many critical tasks to help keep us healthy and alive. Let’s dig a bit deeper into this wonderful world of cells.
Choose one organelle or cellular structure and give a descriiption – but do not identify it so your classmates can guess in their responses. Make sure you explain your chosen structure in enough detail (at least 2 sentences) so that others can figure out what you are pretending to be. Check back through the unit and make a guess on your classmates’ posts.
Find some current research involving stem cells and briefly describe how they are being used.
