Instruction. Below is a link to a 1-page case. Some of you may have seen this case in a previous class, I sometimes use it when I teach Ethical Leadership. In addition to the ethical problem that this case presents, it also presents a group conflict. As is true in so many situations where the company needs to change in response to changing environments, there are many stakeholders and points of view represented here. It is an ethical problem, a change management problem, an emotional issue, and a political issue as well. If you were asked as an outsider to help with this problem, given the potential interventions described in Chapter 10, what would you do? Keep in mind that we were still dealing with Covid at the time, so suggesting a ropes course or other common team building exercise would be a highly fraught recommendation. This is an exercise in not just applying techniques described in the reading, but also recognizing that some of the things the book recommends were not actionable at the time.
