Read chapters 4 and 5 of the book by Serene Khader called “Decolonizing Universalism: A Transnational Feminist Ethic” and answer this question which was raised in class “Considering Khader’s discussion of “feminized power”, do you think that that women can exercise power and fight sexist oppression though women’s fulfillment of prescribed gender roles? Think of concrete examples as you consider your answer.”
The paper should follow this criteria:

You then develop a critical response to this idea, raise a question, and/or make connections with other ideas and readings. In other words, the task is to analyze a central idea from the reading critically. For each paper, you should develop one central point in depth rather than
merely listing unconnected points.
