In this paper, you will begin your research into what is happening in your chosen organization and/or industry in relation to valuing Human Capital or implementing Human Capital Management strategies. What, if anything, is your organization doing to value human capital to generate a competitive advantage?
What does Human Capital Management mean to your organization or industry? How does your organization or industry measure success or competitive advantage? What evidence did you find, if any, to support the value of Human Capital Management in your company or HCM strategies being used in your organization or industry? Did you find Human Resources or Management practices that undermined the value of employees? Could you identify examples of costs associated with poor Human Resources or Management decisions?
