For this assignment, you are to create your own scientific theory based off of something that you have seen in your everyday life. Be sure to speak to the theory and why you picked it. Develop hypothesis for the theory and look at how you would assess this theory as well as what you would expect to find. An example would be:
With Feminism being an ever‐growing movement, it seems gender roles are still very much alive in the common household. Even though women in today’s society are able to and typically contribute financially to their household they are still expected and want to domestically run (take care) of their household while men are expected and want to provide financial stability for their household.
My hypothesis for this theory is that on a biological level it is in women’s nature to nurture and men’s nature to provide protection and stability. However, I believe this theory is predominantly social cognition (learned behavior) observed in our youth.
